Annual 31 July requirements

Registered lobbyists must submit a statutory declaration to the Integrity Commissioner by 31 July each year which includes:

  • confirmation that the information provided in relation to the registration remain correct (including the name of each third-party client and the name of third-party clients that the lobbyist has carried out lobbying activity for in the preceding 12 months); and
  • if a statutory declaration by a person is required for the registrant’s application for registration, a new statutory declaration.

A statutory declaration must be made pursuant to the legislation applicable in the state or territory in which the person wishes to lobby and where the statutory declaration is declared. View the statutory declaration forms for all Australian jurisdictions.
