Annual (July) requirement to give notice details on lobbying register are correct

At the end of each financial year, every registered lobbyists entity must, during the month of July, give the Integrity Commissioner a notice stating that their ‘recorded particulars’ are still correct. When providing this notice to the Integrity Commissioner, the registered lobbyist does not need to complete a statutory declaration.

The Integrity Commissioner will contact each registered lobbying entity in June of each year, setting out what is required to submit their annual return of recorded particulars.

Please see the Fact sheet Annual return requirements for registered lobbyists for further detailed information about the annual return requirements.
