Lobbyist foundational training

All newly registered Queensland lobbyists are required to complete mandatory foundational training. This training is designed to ensure lobbyists understand their obligations under the Integrity Act 2009, the Code of Conduct and any directives issued by the Integrity Commissioner. The training will ensure that lobbyists are equipped to engage with government and Opposition representatives in a transparent and ethical manner.

Registration process

All newly registered lobbyists will be automatically enrolled in the next available training session. This streamlined process ensures compliance with the Integrity Commissioner’s Directive 01/25, which requires all new lobbyists to complete the foundational training within two months of their registration date.
