- Queensland Integrity Commissioner 2008-09 Annual Report now available
- On 1 July 2009, Dr David Solomon AM commenced duty as Queensland’s third Integrity Commissioner, for a term of five years.
- The Criminal Code and Other Legislation (Misconduct, Breaches of Discipline and Public Sector Ethics) Amendment Bill contains the following amendments relevant to the Queensland Integrity Commissioner:
- that all Members of the Legislative Assembly, including non-Government Members, are considered “designated persons” under the Public Sector Ethics Act 1994 and are to seek the Integrity Commissioner’s advice on conflict of interest matters involving themselves.
- that the Office of the Integrity Commissioner is not a statutory office holder who may be removed from office by the Governor in Council under the Public Service Act 2008.
- The Queensland Integrity Commissioner’s office has relocated to
new premises at Level 13, 53 Albert Street, Brisbane. Our phone,
